On Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 6:30pm at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C The Olender Foundation underwritten by the Law Offices of Jack H. Olender & Associates be had their 23rd Annual Olender Foundation Awards. Dr. Alfredo Quinones- Hinojosa was honored with the 2009 America's Role model award.

The Olender Foundation also gave the Brain Cancer Research for a Cure Foundation a $25,000 award.
